born in Tulsa, OK
Cheyenne started shooting with her dad’s Pentax 35mm in high school, photographing friend’s bands and documenting everyday life. It wasn’t until her teacher discussed photo history, that she realized it was going to become her career.
After high school, she studied at the Art Institute of Colorado where she graduated with a Bachelor Degree in Photography in Summer 2010. Shortly there after, she moved to Chicago where she worked as a showing artist and photo assistant.
Since moving back to Tulsa, Cheyenne has expanded into other mediums including installations, handpainted signs, printmaking and more. Currently, she is teaching photography at Tulsa School of Arts and Science.
